For teachers and administrators

AI in the classroom, without the hype.

Guides for teachers and administrators on where AI genuinely saves time, where it quietly causes harm, and how to write a policy your staff will actually follow.

Our position

AI proposes. A teacher disposes.

Everything AI generates inside TeachScript arrives as a draft with a name on it, waiting for approval. Nothing reaches a student without a person deciding it should.

  • Generated items are reviewed before they enter an item bank
  • The mastery model is a knowledge tracing algorithm, not a language model — inspectable and reproducible
  • Student work is not used to train third-party models
  • Any AI-assisted feedback is labelled as such to the teacher
The useful question is not whether to allow AI in schools. It is which decisions we are willing to let it make, and which ones stay with a teacher.Innovatto — on responsible use
